Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool requires only gender, date of birth, general health, tobacco use, coverage amount and term length to return carrier rates. Your name, address and medical details are collected only if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
Those are the rates quoted by carriers for the health class you indicated. The carrier's actual premium gets determined through underwriting, which might confirm, improve or adjust your class. Quotes are estimates for comparison and are not an offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the application gets created from your chosen quote, continuing on a secure carrier platform. You can pause and resume whenever you like, signing electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agency (License 0B75129), handles the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, coverage amount and your situation. Carriers offering Immediate coverage can make quick decisions for eligible applicants; each quote shows whether an exam is required, possibly required, or not required.
Is a longer term better?
A term should match the years when an income loss would hurt your dependents: a mortgage balance, children being raised, a business loan. Longer terms mean higher monthly payments but lock your rate in for longer. Try 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years in the quote tool to compare.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Your name and email are not collected to see quotes. The quote tool skips personal data collection entirely. We don't sell or trade visitor information, and our measurement is cookie-free. Check the privacy page for details on what gets collected and by whom.
